Leimert Park is located in the Crenshaw District of South Los Angeles, centered around Leimert Plaza Park at 43rd Place and Degnan Boulevard. It's just minutes from Downtown LA and accessible by car or via the Metro K Line, which stops at the Leimert Park station. Street parking and nearby lots are available throughout the Village. The open-air African Marketplace takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm in Leimert Park Village, featuring cultural vendors, artisans, and makers selling handmade art, jewelry, textiles, books, and more. It's free to browse and open to all.

Leimert Park's beloved drum circles gather on Sundays, filling Leimert Plaza Park with rhythm and community. It's one of the most authentic ways to experience the heartbeat of the Village. Join the circle at 2 pm in front of Queen Aminah's Cultural Clothing.
